Card Patterns Sketch 81

I found this wonderful blog the other day, with Card Patterns, and a weekly competition that you can enter.
I have decided to play along . . .
Here is this weeks sketch . . . sketch81
Click on the sketch, or go to Card Patterns to check out how to enter your own card.  There is a great prize up for grabs from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps for one lucky winner.
Anyway . . . here is my entry . . . what do you think? I'd love you to leave a comment.

I just love these Magnolia stamps.  This one is two stamps, and I used the masking technique to make my Tilda look like she is sitting on the bench . . . cool hey!
I am also really enjoying using the feathering technique to blend two different colours.  I have done this again on her dress.  Here is a close up . . .

For those of you that are interested, the Copic Colours used in this card are:

Face: E00, E02, R20 (for cheeks)
Dress & Socks: G00, B00 (blended by feathering)
Collar & Underskirt: YR04, YR07
Flower: RV10, RV23, YR7
Hair: E33, E35, E57
Bench: E35, E37, E57, 100

The card was made using:
Papers: Kaisercraft Hippy Girl Collection
Doily: sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Foerst Green
Inked Paper Edges: Versamagic Aquatic Splash
Sentiment: Studio G Dollar Stamps
Miscellaneous Brads and flowers.

Have a great day.
I have some more cards to upload for you later :)

What a great weekend

Hi all, I have just returned from a great weekend away with the ladies and customers from Scrap2Relax. Thanks Karen, for organising such a great weekend, you are amazing.
I had so much fun playing with my copic markers and magnolia stamps, I thought I’d share some of my favourites here with you.
Chinese Tilda5
I love this Chinese Tilda stamp . . . doesn’t she look cute, all coloured in pink and greens.

Sitting Tilda2
This Berry Tilda has been coloured with greens & blues, using the ‘feathering’ technique that I learnt at the Copic Training I went to last month.
It is not an easy technique, but I really love the effect that you get when it is done well.
Paper from the Hippy Girl, Kaisercraft range.

Shopping Tilda2
Shopping Tilda, coloured in purples, along with some other cards I made with the left over papers.  Papers from the BoBunny Range.

Spellbinder Flowers3
This card has been made with the Spellbinders Flower dies.
The flower dies were inked with Brilliance in before they were cut and embossed.
The leaf dies were inked before and after they were cut and embossed.
The background paper was embossed with the cuttlebug dots folder.

If you want to see some more, then you can check out this album . .

If you are interested in learning more about the Copic Markers, check out our Intro to Copic Markers Class, at Scrap2Relax, we’d love to see you there :)
Have a great day . . . I hope you get to spend some of it scrapping or stamping.
